Hidden inside the equipment, how the valve block processing supports the stable operation of the hydraulic system

The external movements of many industrial devices rely heavily on an internal metal component that appears ordinary — the hydraulic valve block. As the carrier for the hydraulic system’s oil circuit, the valve block integrates various valve elements into a single metal body, replacing numerous dispersed pipelines, reducing leakage risks from pipe joints, and making the overall structure of the hydraulic system more compact.

Processing a valve block is not simply a matter of drilling holes. The internally interlaced oil passages, threaded holes, and mounting holes require precision machining. The accuracy of the hole positions and the smoothness of the internal flow paths directly determine the operational performance of the entire hydraulic system. Under different working conditions, valve blocks are made from different base materials such as steel or aluminum alloy, and the surface treatment processes are adjusted accordingly to adapt to complex field conditions such as high pressure, humidity, and dust.

To meet the diverse equipment requirements, valve blocks support customized designs, planning the internal flow paths according to the hydraulic circuit scheme of the equipment, and accommodating various hydraulic components such as pressure control valves, directional valves, and threaded cartridge valves. Whether for construction machinery, forging equipment, or new energy devices, customized valve blocks can match the corresponding layout logic.

Standardized valve blocks can meet the requirements for mass pairing in general equipment, while non-standard customized valve blocks are developed for special working conditions. Proper valve block processing, including control over hole positions, flow paths, and sealing surface quality, is a fundamental condition for ensuring the long-term reliable operation of hydraulic systems and a crucial link in the hydraulic equipment manufacturing chain.
